Three checks before you ever hear a name
Permanent makeup lives on your face for years, and anyone in Michigan can start offering it after a weekend course. So before an artist gets a single referral from us, they pass three checks: we verify the state body-art facility license, we review healed photos taken six weeks or later, and we read a year of their reviews for how the work aged. Pass all three or you never hear the name. Here's the full checklist.
And what we won't do
- We never refer a home operator without a facility license, whatever their Instagram looks like
- We'll tell you to wait (pregnancy, Accutane, unhealed scars) even though waiting pays us nothing
- Studios can't pay their way in. There's no placement fee, so there's nothing to bias the match
